Blue Kudu Mesa Skyline Review

I’m the first to admit that I do not particularly like the high I get off of edibles. Every time I’ve taken one I’ve ended up in a “weed coma” locked to my couch for hours unable to do much of anything. When my boyfriend picked up the Blue Kudu  Mesa Skyline edible I was semi dreading what was to come.

What did initially appeal to me however was the packaging. The Blue Kudu packaging is very sleek and modern with a calming desert scene in the background advertising the Mesa Skyline toffee almond milk chocolate 100 MG THC bar.

It was Memorial Day weekend and since we had an extra day off with not much to do I figured now was a decent time to be couch locked for the remainder of the day. I opted for one 10 MG square of chocolate. Especially if you are a first time user or even a Veteran toker the effects of edibles are usually amplified so I would proceed with caution taking less than you’d normally expect. Edibles tend to sneak up on you after a few hours so its smart to start small.

The Taste

The Blue Kudu Mesa Skyline chocolate was very tasty with minimal weed after-taste. In fact for the most part the chocolate tasted just like the packaging advertised. I hate when edibles do not taste like what they are, but instead have a stale weed taste that’s very overbearing. All the ingredients were listed on the package and were all whole ingredients such as vanilla, almonds, and chocolate. I enjoyed my small piece and waited for the affects to kick in.

The High

Edibles need time to get into the blood stream so even if you aren’t feeling anything instantly or even after 30-minutes to an hour give it time. Eating another piece is only going to make the high more intense and longer not make it react quicker.

Once the edible started to kick in I began to feel my body pulsate. The deep pulsation in the bones and muscles began to vibrate from the THC. For people with chronic pain or going through treatment such as chemotherapy this is a great way to allow the patient to relax. The edible truly provides a body high that allows one to reap the benefits in a holistic manner for both the mind and body.

Blue Kudu Mesa SkylineAfter an hour or two the pulsating went away and the interactive high in the mind started. For me I’m normally passed out by this stage because the edible is too intense, however, the Blue Kudu did not have that affect. I was still on the couch from the body high, but my mind remained active.

I was able to expand my thoughts and brainstorm on some ideas I had while physically relaxing the body. Some of the best thoughts and realizations I have come to me when I’m high so being able to remain active in the brain while benefiting from the edible was a bonus. The edible gave me a perfect mix of mind and body high that I hadn’t experienced before with other edibles.

I took the edible around 3 and went to bed still feeling the affects around 10pm. While this was an all day high it was not as intense and dehibilitating as other candy bars I’ve tried. It was an enjoyable high that took me through the stages of a tingling body high for deep healing to a “heady high” that allowed me to expand upon my thoughts.

Overall Experience

I would recommend Blue Kudu edibles to anyone seeking a manageable edible high. I know when I go to the dispensary there are so many brands and products to chose from it can be overwhelming. Blue Kudu is a go-to brand that I can be loyal to in the future when I’m in need of some major relaxation.

If you are in Colorado search the Blue Kudu website as there are many dispensaries carrying these products!

If you have tried this brand of edible I’d love to hear about your experience.
