Day two of the CBD Challenge, woke up feeling refreshed and ready for the day. Today I teach yoga and plan to incorporate tonight’s full moon into the practice. There has definitely been some heightened energy over the past few days that we should pay attention to. The pink full moon symbolizes the first moon of spring. The moon also symbolizes the birth of Hanuman in India where the culture celebrates Hanuman Jayanti. The full moon is a great time to let go of things of the past and set intentions for the future.

In my practice this morning I utilized the breath to calm the mind and set positive affirmations for the day. I add five more chants to Ganesha and found it a little easier to sit in silence. As the days go on I hope that my morning meditation strengthens and I can find the time to quiet the mind. Today my mantras were “May all being be happy, May all being find peace. May I be happy, May I find peace.”

After my practice I add the CBD tincture to my coffee noticing the tiny oil molecules floating in my drink. Bowing my head in reverence for this magical plant I ask for healing of the mind and body.

Namaste ~
