Background on CBD
CBD is a common buzzword in the cannabis community and is gain traction for its medicinal benefits without the physco-active affects of THC.
The marijuana plant has over 80 cannabinoids, natural compounds in which the plant is comprised of.

CBD and THC are the most recognized cannabinoids that can be extracted from the plant for its medicinal benefits.
For those who do not live in a legal state CBD is a good alternative offering consumers with similar health benefits.
CBD is known to be anti-inflammatory, anti-anxiety, pain relieving, and can assist with insomnia amongst many other benefits.
Our body is comprised of an endocannabonoid system that plays a crucial role in regulating our physiology, mood, and everyday experiences. It has been founded that these cannabinoids can help regulate this system as they can trigger these receptors within our body.
Studies have shown that CBD activates these receptors within the system to further modulate them.
Utilizing CBD in conjunction with THC provides the highest benefit to the body, however, for those who do not wish to have the associated “high” effect of cannabis CBD is a great alternative.
In my Light & Lit yoga classes I utilize various CBD products to provide relaxing effects through tinctures or oils as well as with salves and creams for joint pain relief.

Hemp Bombs CBD Pain Rub is a great tool for arthritis relief and other joint pain. The biggest positive for me using this cream is the cooling sensation through the menthol. The majority of CBD salves on the market are missing that cooling affect you would get with a regular joint pain cream such as Icy Hot.
For those looking for that “instant” sensation this CBD rub provides you with such relief. Hemp Bombs also utilized organic camphor to further promote the cooling relief.
Offering this cream in a yoga class allows the students to feel the benefits almost instantly which can be helpful if someone is in deep pain preventing them from practicing.
One thing to note about this cream is the consistency is more watery then expected which makes application slightly messy. Other then that this one of the best CBD pain rubs I’ve experienced thus far with the biggest perk being the cooling effect of the rub.

The most effective way to use the CBD tincture is by placing a few drops under the tongue as the product dissolves into the blood stream through the veins rather quickly. My favorite method is to include CBD a relaxing tea blend or in my morning coffee.
What I loved about this product is the consistency and clear color. Other tinctures I have found are more syrupy and darker in color making me question the ingredients in the product.
This by far has been one of my favorites that I have been using every morning as part of my daily ritual.
The calming effects of the CBD after a long day of work are also beneficial for those needing to relax.
