What is Kief?
Have you ever looked closely at a cannabis bud and noticed the small crystals on the plant?
Those crystals are considered “kief” which are resin glands that contain terpenes and cannabinoids profiles that are unique to each strain. Since there is a higher concentration of terpenes and cannabinoids in the kief this is a desirable by-product of grinding cannabis.
Most grinders will sift the kief through a screen allowing you to store the kief separately from the ground cannabis.
Once you’ve sifted enough kief in the grinder you should have a nice little mound of product without any way to scoop it up into your bowl!
